Nicalon SiC在301~1123K之间的平均热膨张系数为2.94×10~(-6)K~(-1),低于纯SiC的热膨胀系数。Nicalon SiC/Al复合材料的轴向膨胀系数随纤维体积分数的增加而减小。当纤维体积分数从0.13增加到0.34时,在323~773K的平均热膨胀系数由4.31×10~(-6)K~(-1)降为3.24×10~(-6)K~(-1)。在同一温度区间,相同纤维体积分数的Nicalon SiC/Al复合材料的离轴膨胀系数,随离轴角增大而增大,实测值与理论值大体相符。
The average thermal expansion coefficient of Nicalon SiC between 301 ~ 1123K is 2.94 × 10 -6 K -1, which is lower than the thermal expansion coefficient of pure SiC. The axial expansion coefficient of Nicalon SiC / Al composites decreases with the increase of fiber volume fraction. When the fiber volume fraction increased from 0.13 to 0.34, the average coefficient of thermal expansion from 323 ~ 773K decreased from 4.31 × 10 ~ (-6) K ~ (-1) to 3.24 × 10 ~ (-6) K ~ (-1) . In the same temperature range, the coefficient of off-axis expansion of Nicalon SiC / Al composites with the same fiber volume fraction increases with increasing off-axis angle, and the measured values agree with the theoretical values.
