中央电视台“文化视点”正月十四那一期,讨论的话题是电视连续剧《水浒传》。改编要与原著保持怎样的关系,是忠于原著,还是加进现代人的理解,成为一个聚讼的焦点。我的观点,创作无边际,再创作还是无边际,是其中的一极。极端地讲,任何忠于原著都不可能不包含再创作,任何再创作都不可能走出原著太远。在此意义上,忠于原著与加进理解并不构成不两立的关系。因而,讨论是要忠于原著,还是要加进现代人的理解,似乎压根无必要。可是这毕竟是极端意义上得出的结论。在两极之间
