It is a realistic, important and urgent issue for China’s atmospheric environmental protection to study the fumes and CO emissions of intermittently operated boilers. Based on the theoretical analysis and the measured data, this paper discusses the smoke emission law during the furnace-starting stage and the CO emission law during the pressure-extrusion stage. It points out that the emission concentration of soot and dust in the furnace-starting stage is several to several tens of times higher than the stable operation of high mountains; The CO emission intensity is several times higher than during operation. As a result, new issues have also been raised in the work of atmospheric environmental management, monitoring, and evaluation.
