大学英语的教学目的是“培养学生具有较强的阅读能力,一定的听的能力、初步的写和说的能力,使学生能以英语为工具,获取专业所需要的信息,并为进一步,提高英语水平打下较好的基础。“具体地说,就是在大学一、二年级的阶段,巩固学生的语法、词汇等基础知识,提高学生的听、说、读、写、译的能力。要实现这一目的,大学英语教师进行了坚持不懈的努力,探索出许多切实可行的教学方法。笔者在所任教的班级进行了教学改革实验初步总结出“五步骤”教学法,求教于专家、同行。
The purpose of college English teaching is to “develop students’ abilities of reading ability, listening ability, initial writing and speaking ability so that students can use English as a tool to obtain the information they need professionally and to further improve their abilities English, and lay a good foundation. ”Specifically, it is in the first and second year of college, to consolidate the students ’grammar, vocabulary and other basic knowledge, to improve students’ listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills. To achieve this goal, college English teachers have made unremitting efforts to explore many practical teaching methods. The author conducted a teaching reform experiment in the classes taught by the author, and summed up the “five steps” teaching method initially, seeking advice from experts and colleagues.
