Introduction Cultural identity is a complex and unavoidable important issue for Chinese literary translation because it directly relates to the theme of “Who am I ” and represents the definition of subjective sense of belonging? According to cultural anthropology, in the exchange of foreign cultures, the translator’s perception of “self ” also determines its view of “other ”, and different cultural identities will directly affect their cognition of the work And even the choice of their translation strategies. The interpretation and communication of translators can help the readers who are translators to construct their identity about the exotic culture. The readers will form the value evaluation of the works in the imagination.
