The problem is the soul of mathematics. Without high-quality, challenging questions, students can hardly train and develop good thinking qualities. Some people think that to reduce the burden on students, protect students’ self-confidence and study enthusiasm, it is necessary to reduce the difficulty of teaching materials and exercises in an all-round way, and to steal misconceptions. This worry is not without reason. The challenging topics are often at the same time prone to lethality and mishandling, which will really hurt students’ self-confidence and enthusiasm. However, as long as the problem is properly handled, this problem can be avoided. The key lies in how teachers grasp. Let us take the example of the parity of the learning function as an example to illustrate our approach.
