受今年春运“难上加难”和刘志军被免职消息的刺激,铁路改革再次引起公众的关注。铁路长期作为中国最主要的长距交通工具,人称“铁老大”。铁路建设近年进展神速,至2009年底,营业里程8.6万公里,居世界第二,美国为22.6万公里。至2010年底,高铁营运里程超过7000公里。但除以中国的人口基数,仍然非常紧张,且时空分布很不平衡。同时铁路体制仍保留浓重的计划经济色彩,
