旅游资料的对外英译关系到我国的对外形象及旅游业的发展。时下我国旅游资料的翻译资料有很多,其中翻译错误也随之大量出现。该文试从旅游文本的特点及类型分析出发,从而得出旅游资料文本具有呼唤、信息及表达功能。在具有不同侧重点的文本中,其翻译方法也有所不同。对于呼唤和信息功能为主的语篇,应采用交际翻译法;对于表达型的旅游文本,应采用语义翻译法,以便更好地向外传达中国文化和增进与外面的交流和了解。
The translation of tourist materials into English to the outside world is related to the external image of our country and the development of tourism. Nowadays there are many translations of tourist information in our country, of which translation mistakes also appear in large numbers. The paper tries to analyze the characteristics and types of tourism texts, and draws a conclusion that tourism texts have the functions of calling, information and expression. In the texts with different emphasis, the method of translation is also different. The communicative translation method should be adopted for the texts of the call and information functions, and the semantic translation method should be adopted for the expressive tourist texts in order to better convey the Chinese culture and promote exchanges and understanding with the outside.
