本厂的径向剃齿刀(下称径剃刀)的制造和齿形修形工作,是在国产Y7125磨齿机上进行的,能修磨出剃削圆柱正齿轮直齿向、圆柱正齿轮锥齿同(小锥度齿轮)并且齿形、齿向都作了修形(指设计齿形》的多种径剃刀。对用上述径剃刀成批试剃后的齿轮(m2.5、z24、p30°、a15°、20CrMnTi正火)进行检测,结果表明,除部分工作齿面光洁度不够理想(接近▽7,因刀具质量差)外,齿形、齿向的精度均比采用平行剃齿有较大的提高。主要精度用JB179—83标准的渐开线圆柱齿轮精度考核,切向综合误差(△F_i′)高于5级,切向相邻综合误差(ΔF_i′)高于6级,周节累计误差(△F_p)接近4级,周节偏差(Δf_(pt))接近4级,都达到了较高的剃齿质量水平。单件剃削实际时间为50s,缩短到我厂原剃齿的三分之一。其他各项质量指标也比平行剃齿法稳定。它与传统的平行(轴向)剃齿法比较,有下述优点:
