With the assistance of the Biological Control Research Office of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Garden Science and Technology Office has used Tetrasychus urticae to control Tetranychus urticae in greenhouse strawberries and calla by using Phytoseinlus persimilis. In the spring of 1988, strawberry 8 ridge (8 m long and 1.5 m wide) was cultivated in the greenhouse in all-weather environment.
