In early 2017, Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property and Technology Group) released “2016 Top 100 Innovative Companies in Mainland China” (the “Report”) and “2016 Global Top 100 Innovative Institutions” Two reports. The geographical distribution is concentrated, mostly in Beijing and Guangdong for the first time for the report released by China’s domestic enterprises, and analyzed the composition of enterprises from a regional and industry perspective. “Report” shows that, based on the statistics of the headquarters of the enterprise, the short-listed enterprises are more concentrated in geographical distribution.
