1977年,我省黄石市大冶县委在打倒“四人帮”以后的第一个春天里,认真贯彻落实华主席抓纲治国的伟大战略决策,带领全县人民积极开展农业学大寨群众运动,以大搞早稻无土秧推动了水田主要作业机械化的向前发展。全县42万亩早稻,机播面积34万亩,其中机插无土秧10万亩,占早稻面积的24％。贫下中农热情地赞扬这是“育秧不用土,插秧不用手,实现农业现代化,确确实实有奔头”。
