中国东部一个十分重要的地质特征,是华北和华南在一系列地质构造上,包括基底组成、古生物区系、岩相古地理和构造运动史,存在着重大的差别。国内外许多学者十重视这一现象。我们认为,解决南北地体长期对峙问题的关键,重要的是要深入研究横互其间的、近东西向的、复杂的祁连——秦岭——大别褶皱山系,特别是研究它们在演化过程中与华北地块、扬子地块之间的相互作用,以及在时间上和空间上的相互关系。最近几年,国内一些学者就这一课题发表了不少有卓见的论文,无疑对这一构造带的进一步讨论是有益的。笔者近几年来在大别淮阳地区作了一些研究工作,本文就在这工作基础上对上述问题进行初步的探讨。

In recent years, the author made some research work in the area of Huaiyang in Dabie. In this paper, based on this work, the above issues are discussed tentatively.
