开设“学者世界”栏目的意图,在于展开学术评论。长期以来,文学研究领域已习惯了对创作界作家作品的探讨和评论,而较忽略本领域完整意义上的学者研究。如果有一点的话,每每不是把注意力集中在古代或西方名家身上就是将精力耗在支离残缺的相互论争(论战)之中,难有深入细致的同代评论。本期的栏目以北大教授乐黛云开头,是因为其学术身份及成果影响的独特:她和她所进行的学术活动-从现代文学到比较文学,既具有学科中介连接的特点又体现出时代承前启后的过渡。更重要的是,作为沉默20年又活跃于“新时期”、积极投身到世纪末中西对话新浪潮里的中国女性学者,乐黛云的道路具有从一个层面“缩影”和“索引”中国现当代学术走向的意味。由点及面,知一见多。通过这样的关注,或许有助于我们认识和理解中国文论学术与社会层面的来龙去脉,并在一定程度上预见其今后的某些可能。刊物的好处之一是能以文会友。本组文章尽管有限,权当开了一次小型“作品讨论会”吧。余下的末尽之言,留待来者发挥。
