用于机械零件的各种表面处理是改变材料表面特性或赋予表面新功能、提高零件综合机械性能如降低摩擦、磨损以及改善疲劳强度的方法。而高频感应加热淬火是对工件一定深度的表面进行强化,可使其获得高强度、高耐磨性和高韧性的综合性能。如工件表层上可形成马氏体致密金属组织,产生压缩残余应力而获得表面强化。若单独使用上述两种方法进行处理,则在功能的提高上有一定局限。为进一步提高功能、赋予材料高附加价值,组合表面处理与高频淬火等的复合处理是一种可期待的热处理新技术。文章例举了几种表面处理或表面改性与高频淬火的复合处理的原理和应用效果。
