In recent years, the number of anti-dumping cases filed by WTO members has reached the largest number involving more than 600. 2005 may usher in the peak of the global anti-dumping. First of all, according to China’s commitment at the time of WTO accession, most Chinese enterprises will have the right to operate foreign trade by 2005, which means that competition will reach a new peak in domestic and overseas markets. Most Chinese companies find it hard to adopt brand competition in these two or three years and may still rely on price competition. Thus both in domestic and international markets, the inevitable anti-dumping restrictions will be brought abroad.
