1985年10月21日上午,美洲家庭基金会秘书长威尔逊夫人等在上海市卢湾区产院作了内容为“Billings自然避孕法”的报告。他们认为:此法需要夫妇双方共同承担避孕责任,完全无副作用,目前唯一没有性别歧视的避孕措施。Billings自然避孕法主要根据妇女月经周期中宫颈粘液的周期变化来决定受孕期和非受孕期;夫妇俩在受孕期实行禁欲而达到避孕目的。此法科学性强、简便易行,有效率达98～99%;与世界卫生组织报道的用日程表计算结合宫颈粘液和基础体温的自然避孕法研究结果相似。此法已在印度、非洲、拉美的一些国家各个阶层中试行推广;结果表
On the morning of October 21, 1985, Mrs. Wilson, secretary general of the American Family Foundation, gave a report titled “Billings Natural Contraception Act” at the Luwan District Hospital of Shanghai.
