安徽巢湖地区的下三叠统在中国南方,乃至全球早三叠世沉积记录中,是首屈一指的良好代表性地层序列,也是我国早三叠世地层研究的经典剖面。由于其特殊的古构造和古地理位置,早三叠世地层记录十分完整,各类化石也是区域上最为丰富、序列最为完整的。本文简要介绍了本区下三叠统基本发育特点及研究历史和现状,详细列述了巢湖地区早三叠世地层序列,归纳和总结了区域岩石地层及岩性旋回特征、菊石和牙形石生物地层、磁性地层和碳氧同位地层等最新研究成果。由于本区下三叠统良好的地层记录和较好的研究成果,巢湖剖面不仅被作为中国年代地层表中下三叠统“巢湖阶”的命名地,而也被提议为全球印度阶—奥伦尼克阶界线层型的候选剖面。
The Lower Triassic in the Chaohu area of Anhui Province is the best representative sequence of stratigraphy in the sedimentary records of the Early Triassic in southern China and even in the world. It is also a classic section of the study of the Early Triassic strata in China. Because of its special palaeogeomorphology and palaeogeographic location, the records of the Early Triassic strata are very complete and all kinds of fossils are also the most abundant and the most complete in the region. This paper briefly introduces the basic development characteristics and research history of the Lower Triassic in this area, details the sequence of the Early Triassic strata in the Chaohu area, summarizes the regional lithostratigraphic and lithological gyration characteristics, ammonites and conodont Biological strata, magnetic stratum and carbon-oxygen isotope formation and other latest research results. Due to the good record of the Lower Triassic stratigraphy and good research results, the Chaohu section was not only named as the Lower Triassic and “Chaohu Lake” in the Chinese Chronostratigraphy, but also proposed as a global Indo-Indian Candidate profiles of Orenician boundary line strata.
