“生生”哲学思想是儒家思想的一个内在维度,在现实层面表现为对人的生命和生存的关怀。历代儒家在同当时社会流行的各种思想交流、对峙的过程中,都会提及“生生”之思,从而不断丰富、发展“生生”之思的内涵。在分别遭遇《老子》、杨朱以及佛教思想时,“生生”之思逐步在宇宙论、伦理学,最终在本体论上形成了一个较为完整的形态,其特质也不断地得到丰富。对“生生”哲学思想的关注,也是中国现当代思想家面对西方形而上学以及科技文化时,返回到儒家传统中所寻找到的思想资源。
“Life and Living ” Philosophical thought is an intrinsic dimension of Confucianism, which manifests itself as concern for human life and existence at the realistic level. In the process of exchange and confrontation of all kinds of thoughts prevailing in the society at that time, Confucianism of the past generations made reference to the thinking of “life and life”, thereby constantly enriching and developing the connotation of thinking of “life and life.” In their encounters with Lao Tzu, Yang Zhu and Buddhism, respectively, the thinking of “生 生 ” gradually became a more complete form on the ontology in cosmology and ethics, and its qualities were continuously enriched. Concerns about the philosophy of life and life are also the ideological resources sought by Chinese contemporary and contemporary thinkers in returning to the Confucian tradition in the face of Western metaphysics and science and technology.
