Last week my family finally online, although the oldest is used dial-up Internet, but after all, can send and receive Email at home. I bought TP-LINK’s built-in cat (ESS chip) and loaded it into my 2000-assembled machine (Thunderbird 850MHz, 256MB KingMax, Elsa TNT2, Soltek75-KV). Win2000 found a small “cat”, installed a kitten driver, but after the restart found that actually can not access the Internet. Go to the “Device Manager” found that there are conflicts between cats and parallel port - interrupt settings are 7, and can not be changed in Win2000, so I went to the BIOS change, invalid. I am in line with the principle of soft first think, anyway, I did not parallel device, the parallel port is not blocked there is no conflict? I went to the BIOS to parallel port shielding, which finally under the surf!
