This article presents the current status of the UK renewable distributed generation market and the progress made in the UK distribution network (132k V ~ 11k V). Briefly introduces the relevant government regulations, market subsidy mechanism and distributed power grid accession rules of UK distributed generation. The difficulties caused by high proportion distributed generation to distribution network are analyzed, and the coping schemes are expounded with practical engineering cases.
