阅读课作为英语专业基础阶段教学的一门必修课,对于培养学生的英语综合能力有重要作用。然而由于课堂阅读教学时间有限,学生的阅读量难以保证,因此加强英语专业学生的课外阅读,促使期广泛接触语言材料,就显得非常重要。英语专业新生正处在从高考前的英语题海战术到英语专业的学习的过渡阶段。如何引导他们有效地进行课外阅读对其以后英语能力的培养有直接影响。本文旨在调查研究英语专业新生在教师引导下的课外阅读的开展情况,初步了解新生通过一个学期的课外阅读实践后的课外阅读变化情况并从中获得一些启示,以期望能帮助英语专业新生更快地提高英语综合能力。
Reading class as a basic course of English majors a compulsory course, for students to develop English comprehensive ability has an important role. However, due to the limited time of reading teaching in class and the unreadable reading of students, it is very important to strengthen extracurricular reading of English majors to promote extensive access to language materials. English majors are at the transitional stage from the English-style sea tactics before college entrance examination to the study of English majors. How to guide them to effectively carry out extracurricular reading has a direct impact on their ability to cultivate English in the future. The purpose of this paper is to investigate and study the progress of extracurricular reading under the guidance of teachers in freshmen majoring in English, and to gain a preliminary understanding of the extracurricular reading changes after a semester’s extracurricular reading practice and to obtain some enlightenment in the hope of helping the freshmen of English major Improve English comprehensive ability.
