绩效数据的分析和使用我们讨论的所有这些不同类型的数据都支持着运营层面的决策,支持着高层领导的绩效评审、主次安排和战略计划活动。然而,只是汇报数字或在图表上展示还不够;数据必须进行合理的分析从而转化为信息。分析(analysis)指的是为了提供有效决策的基础而对事实和数据进行的检查,例如:●检查关键绩效指标的趋势与变化;●与其他的业务单位、竞争对手或行业最佳标杆的绩效做比较;●计算均值、方差以及其他统计量;●使用相关分析和回归分析等复杂的统计工具找出不同绩效指标间的关系。
Analysis and Use of Performance Data All of these different types of data we discuss support operational-level decisions that support top-level leadership performance reviews, primary and secondary arrangements, and strategic planning activities. However, it is not enough to report figures or display them on a chart; the data must be reasonably analyzed and translated into information. Analysis refers to the factual and data checks performed to provide a basis for effective decision making, for example: • Check trends and changes in key performance indicators; • Performance with other business units, competitors or industry best practices • Compute mean, variance, and other statistics; • Use complex statistical tools, such as correlation analysis and regression analysis, to find out the relationship between different performance measures.
