国内塔式起重机的起升机构普遍采用的电气传动方式有:绕线式电机转子串组与涡流调速;绕线式电机转子串组与电磁换档调速;多速电机调速。八十年代初法国波坦公司推出了新颖的LMD电气传动系统,这种机构一反往常,以其独特的传动工作方式,集机、电、液于一体,实现吊重下连续宽范围调速。具有效率高、起重能力大、性能好等优点,在国外的高大型塔机上广泛采用。例如法国波坦公司生产的H3/36B-LMD塔机起升机构可实现0~260米/分的无级调速,起重能力达12吨。
