Compared with the modern art education of professional division of labor, fine discipline, and pursuit of efficiency, general education seems somewhat “out of date.” However, in terms of the cultural function of enhancing and cultivating the personality of the arts, art is a part of general education. At the same time, the development of fine arts can not do without the participation and benefit of general education. Fostering general education and exploring and researching at Harvard University in the United States have provided a lot of experience for all countries in the world to carry out general education.
