“金三角”位于泰国、缅甸、老挝交界处。由于历史的原因,国民党老兵留下有6万后代,其中湘籍第一代老兵有50人仍健在,他们留有后代400多人。时过境迁,半个多世纪过去了,曾经的国民党老兵及其后代如今已成为合法公民。过去位于泰国清莱府的“敌巢”——美斯乐,如今已成为旅游景点,每年前往美斯乐来自世界各地的游客达20余万人。2008年12月,笔者再次来到美斯乐,先后采访了50多个湘籍老兵,本文记录的是其中的一位。
“Golden Triangle ” is located in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos border. For historical reasons, the KMT veterans left behind 60,000 offspring. Among them, 50 of the first generation of Hunan-based veterans were still alive, leaving more than 400 offspring. As time passes, more than half a century has passed. Former KMT veterans and their descendants have now become lawful citizens. In the past, Mae Salong, located in Chiang Rai, Thailand, has become a tourist attraction and attracts more than 200,000 tourists from all over the world every year. In December 2008, the author again came to Mae Salong and interviewed more than 50 Hunan veterans. This article records one of them.
