农村医学教育,是发展农村卫生事业的基础,是培养农村基层医疗卫生单位的新生力量和提高广大基层卫技人员素质的系统工程。其任务既刻不容缓,又极其繁重。因为农村医学教育不是单纯的学校教育,不是力量还相当薄弱的县级卫校一家的事情,而是大范围、多层次、多形式的医学教育。因此,活跃在农村医学教育舞台上的师资队伍就不能仅仅是指为数很少的县卫校教师,而是包括了所有参加到各种类型的培养基层卫技人员的教学活动中来的各学科的技术骨干。这些医护人员自觉地或不自觉地充当着教师的角色,他们的学识水平、教学能力、个人修养自然而然地反映到具体的教学活动的实际效果上
Rural medical education is the foundation for the development of rural health undertakings.
