2007年初,《西部》杂志又一次全面改版,与上海合作方携手并进,力图把杂志打造成华语世界里极具影响力的大型文学品牌期刊。如同上一次改版,《西部》此举再次引起疆内文学界人士和期刊界的关注。在国内文学期刊大都步履维艰、勉强维持生计的状况下,《西部》却重举文学的大旗,猛然间令人有突兀之感,细细想来它的文学回归之路正是对文学期刊定位的明确:文学期刊的定位离不开文学,文学期刊的发展只能依托文学。
In early 2007, the “West” magazine was completely revised again and went hand in hand with the Shanghai partners in an effort to transform the magazine into an influential large-scale literary brand periodical in the Chinese-speaking world. As in the previous revision, the “western” move once again aroused the concern of the literary circles and periodicals in Xinjiang. With most of the domestic literary journals struggling and barely surviving their livelihoods, the “western” emphatically lauded the banner of literature, which suddenly brought a sense of unexpectedness. It is exactly the orientation of literary return Clearly: literary journals can not be separated from the literature, the development of literary journals can only rely on literature.
