通常,矿床分带是指矿体形态、矿石构造、矿物成分、化学成分、原生地球化学晕以及硫同位素数值等在空间分布上(垂直和水平方向)表现出来的一系列规律性变化。一般由矿体形态、矿石构造和矿物成分的差异而显示出来的分带现象称为显成分带;由原生地球化学晕、矿石化学成分及微量元素、硫同位素数值等显示出来的分带现象称为隐成分带。矿床的垂直分带应包括沿矿体厚度方向和倾斜方向的分带。根据硫化物矿床在垂直方向上的变化特征,可以划分非重复型和重复型两种分带类型。
