Mechanical work and mechanical efficiency are important indicators of muscle contractility and overall movement. It is easy to measure the mechanical work done by a muscle. However, there are some difficulties in measuring directly the mechanical efficiency of a muscle, especially a small muscle. This article describes a toad sartorius muscle work done and mechanical efficiency of the determination method, and put forward a muscle contraction molecular structure changes in a hypothesis. Experimental methods First, the experimental device I designed two kinds of determination of muscle power and work efficiency experiments. One is the “closed loop oxygen method.” This method is the muscle and oxygen stored in a closed system
