1989年,周宽基在小麦品种间组合87(212)的F_4代杂种后代中,发现一雄性不育材料。后经广泛的测交、杂交和回交,F_2、F_3代育性分离比例调查及系谱分析,多年多代北(兰州)南(云南)异地种植育性表现观察等常规遗传分析,初步确定该雄性不育属单隐性核基因突变,具有普通小麦细胞质,不育性遗传稳定、彻底,不受环境变化的影响。暂命名为“兰州核不育”,简称LZ。1991~1994年,根据
