球罐的开罐检验工作中,由于其容积大,材质强度常较高,有的球罐盛装的介质具有比较强的腐蚀性,容易产生表面缺陷,因此对球罐焊接接头进行磁粉检测显得意义重大。在日常检验中,笔者单位针对实际工作中发现的磁粉检测相关问题,不断努力寻找切实可行的解决方法,以期达到更高的检出率,为定期检验工作提供更准确可靠的依据。据本院2006年至2010年5年的统计数据,采用磁粉对球罐的裂纹检出率从15%上升到28%。1球罐定期检验中的磁粉检测对于球罐的开罐检验中的磁粉检测,对检测灵敏度要求较高,且焊缝经打磨除锈后表面也较光滑,同时考虑其固定和检测面积大的特点,所以通常采用湿法连续法,采用交叉磁轭法对对接焊缝和工装卡具部
