This article attempts to analyze two different characters of Mary, Louise in The Skies Beyond the Horizon and Mary in The Long Journey into the Dark of Night, to explore the change in the attitude of the playwrights to women. This change is the dramatic performance of dramatist writing, but also the performance of his mature outlook on life.
