背景:大众化饮食,尤其是低碳水化合物饮食,向当前所提倡的低脂高碳水化合物饮食的减肥推荐方案提出了挑战,但其可能的获益和风险尚未得到充分验证。目的:比较4种代表由低至高水平碳水化合物摄入的减肥饮食对体重减轻及相关代谢变量的影响。设计、机构和参与者:2003年2月至2005年10月间在美国开展一项为期12个月的随机化试验,纳入311例生活自主、超重/肥胖(体重指数27~40)、无糖尿病的绝经前女性。
Background: Popular diets, especially the low-carb diet, pose a challenge to the currently recommended weight loss recommendations for low fat, high carbohydrate diets, but their potential benefits and risks have not yet been fully validated. OBJECTIVE: To compare the effects of 4 weight loss diets representing low to high carbohydrate intake on weight loss and related metabolic variables. DESIGN, INSTITUTIONS AND PARTICIPANTS: A 12-month randomized trial in the United States between February 2003 and October 2005 involving 311 spontaneously active, overweight / obese (BMI 27-40), non-diabetic Premenopausal women.
