纤蛇纹石是重要的工业矿物。属层状硅酸盐矿物,结构式为Mg_6[Si_4O_(10)](OH)_6.对我国四个矿区的五个样品室温穆斯堡尔谱分析发现,这些谱应当分解为三对双峰,Fe~(2+)只占据八面体(Mg)位置,而Fe~(3+)可同时占据八面体(Mg)位置和四面体(Si)位置。第一对双峰I.S.为0.304~0.460,Q.S.为0.487~1.056mm/s,应分配给八面体(Mg)位的Fe~(3+);第二对双峰I.S.为0.262~0.296,Q.S.为0.232~0.547mm/s,应分配给四面体(Si)位的Fe~(3+);第三对双峰I.S.为1.077~1.136,Q.S.为2.697~2.790mm/s,应分配给八面体(Mg)位的Fe~(2+).
Chrysotile is an important industrial mineral. Is a layered silicate mineral with the structural formula of Mg_6 [Si_4O_ (10)] (OH) _6. According to the room temperature Mossbauer spectroscopy analysis of five samples from four mining areas in China, these spectra should be decomposed into three pairs of doublets, Fe 2+ only occupies the octahedral Mg site, while Fe 3+ occupies both the octahedral (Mg) site and the tetrahedral (Si) site. The first pair of bimodal IS was 0.304 ~ 0.460 and the QS was 0.487 ~ 1.056mm / s, which should be assigned to Fe ~ (3+) at the octahedral (Mg) site. The second pair of doublet IS was 0.262 ~ 0.296, 0.232 ~ 0.547mm / s, which should be assigned to Fe ~ (3+) at the tetrahedral site (Si); the third pair of doublet IS ranges from 1.077 to 1.136 and the QS ranges from 2.697 to 2.790mm / s and should be assigned to octahedron Mg 2+).
