虽然张爱玲的文学地位至今仍让一些人一再斟酌,但她的文学成就却是有目共睹的。她的小说显示了独特的审美追求和人生品味,在融会古今中外的广阔背景中开拓自己的文学创作空间。她的文字冷漠、傲然、惨淡而又苍凉。她对人性有着独到的把握,人性的自私、卑琐、冷漠、虚伪、甚至病态,在其笔下一览无遗。写作技巧圆熟而有个性,人性的矛盾,离经叛道的价值观,电影化的笔法,充分显示了文学创作独特的艺术美。
Although her literary status still allows some people to consider it repeatedly, her literary achievement is obvious to all.
