As a relatively new methodology,task-based language teaching(TBLT) methodology is increasingly popular in China. The feasibility of TBLT in the college English classroom in China has been disputed. It is necessary to discuss it’s suitable and unsuitable aspects,and then put forward measures in order to make this methodology suit this environment and improve the teaching quality.
