从原始的洞穴到如今的摩天大厦，门窗作为建筑物不可缺少的一部分，随着人类文明的发展而发展着。门和窗最原始的定义只不过是墙上的洞和孔，为人提供出口的通道，同时兼有避风挡雨、防火防盗的作用。从古时的木障子门窗，到现今门窗的发展，众所周知它的材料不再是单一的木材，还有铁、钢，铝合金，塑钢和玻璃。一幢幢的房子在建筑结构上可能相同，但每个房子独有的风格，却大大来源于别具创意的门和窗了。
From the original cave to today’s skyscrapers, doors and windows are an indispensable part of the building and have evolved along with the development of human civilization. The original definition of the door and window is nothing more than a hole and a hole in the wall, providing people with access to the exit, both as a shelter from wind, rain and fire.
