Objective To construct a three-dimensional visual model of the deep nuclei of the brain in order to study its three-dimensional shape and spatial location. Methods The continuous cross-sectional image of the head of the visual human body data set was selected and resampled to the plane of parallel commissure before and after, and then the two-dimensional contour of deep brain nuclei and anterior commissure and so on were separated one by one. Rendering and volume rendering of the three-dimensional reconstruction of the segmented structure and virtual display, and according to the reconstruction model to calculate the calculation of the nucleus in the brain space coordinate system of the position range, center of gravity coordinates and size. Results The serial images of cephalometric images of the head continuous section parallel to the anterior-posterior commissure plane and the two-dimensional contour segmentation images of deep brain nuclei with anatomical marks were obtained. The three-dimensional model of the surface rendering and volume rendering of each nucleus was reconstructed And obtain the coordinates of the center of gravity of the nucleus in the space coordinate system of the brain originating from the midpoint of the anterior-posterior commissure and the anatomical values of the nucleus on the X, Y, Z-axes and the volume of the nucleus. Conclusion The three-dimensional visualization model of deep nuclei in the brain based on visual human data sets fully shows the stereoscopic shape and spatial position of each nucleus in the brain and provides anatomical values such as coordinates, range and volume of the center of gravity of the nucleus.
