酚醛纤维是七十年代发展的新型耐燃有机纤维,它具有耐高温,耐腐蚀,与以水为主的树脂、橡胶有亲和性及柔软手感的特点,是理想的制造填料的原材料。1982年起,我们开始研制以酚醛纤维为基材与聚四氟乙烯的编织填料,并在应用上取得了成效。目前,多数性能好的特种纤维价格昂贵,广泛使用受到一定限制。而酚醛纤维是一种价廉的产品,是比较理想的能替代石棉的原材料。一、酚醛纤维的性能酚醛纤维的物理机械性能见表1。其耐腐蚀性能见表2,耐溶剂的性能尤为突出,这是与它的交联结构有关。表3列举酚醛纤维与其它特种纤维在某些性能上的比较。
Phenolic fiber is a new type of flame-retardant organic fiber developed in the seventies. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, affinity with water-based resin and rubber, and soft touch. It is the ideal raw material for filler manufacture. Since 1982, we have started to develop braided packing made of phenolic fibers and PTFE, and we have achieved the results.
