台西南盆地是南海北部大陆架边缘盆地链上的中新生代含油气盆地之一,处在中国近海陆架盆地天然气富集区带的有利位置,具有良好油气资源潜力和勘探前景,迄今该区勘探及研究程度较低,仅在中央隆起带中部发现了CFC、CFS和CGF等含油气构造,且探井及研究亦主要集中于该带,对其它区块勘探及研究均十分薄弱。由于中央隆起带处在区域上有利油气运聚的低势区,具备了良好的油气运聚成藏条件,勘探发现的商业性油气也集中于该带,因此应加大勘探力度,全面解剖中央隆起带,深入研究其油气富集规律,这也是在台西南盆地尽快获得油气勘探突破的关键所在。
The southwestern Taiwan basin is one of Mesozoic-Cenozoic petroliferous basins along the continental margin of the northern continental shelf in the South China Sea. It is located in a favorable natural gas-rich zone in China’s continental shelf basin and has good hydrocarbon potential and prospect. So far, The study area is relatively low. Only hydrocarbon-bearing structures such as CFC, CFS and CGF are found in the central uplift zone. Well exploration and research are also mainly concentrated in this zone, and the exploration and research of other blocks are very weak. Because the central uplift zone is favorable for hydrocarbon migration and accumulation in the area, it has favorable hydrocarbon migration and accumulation conditions. The commercial oil and gas discovered by exploration is also concentrated in this zone. Therefore, exploration efforts should be intensified to comprehensively dissect the central Uplift zone, in-depth study of its oil and gas enrichment laws, which is the key to access to oil and gas exploration breakthroughs in Taiwan’s southwestern basin as soon as possible.
