According to the Soviet “Architectural mechanics and structural calculations” 1959, the fifth phase of the report: The Soviet Central Building Structural Science Research Institute and the Wet Settlement and Reinforced Concrete Science Research Institute are modifying building codes and structural design codes. In the modification, special attention is paid to simplifying the calculation method of the limit state calculation as much as possible. In the limit state calculation method, there are three calculation coefficients: the homogenizing coefficient, the overload coefficient, and the working condition coefficient. The homogeneity coefficient is included in the calculated strength of the material and does not appear in an apparent form in the calculation.
