绘画技术与绘画艺术,在不少专业画家看来,似乎是截然不同的两个概念。似乎只有绘画艺术才属于高层次审美范畴,而绘画技术不过是雕虫小技,只能与匠人相关联。因而,在目前的学术界,对绘画艺术观念、艺术精神的探讨比较多,而绘画技术却少有人提及。好像不这样,就会显得不入流,显得层次低。在这种思想影响下,很多画家在进行艺术创作时,也是更多地关注作品的内容、画家的观念、情感等因素在绘画艺术创作中的地位与作用,绘画技术却没能提到它应有的高度。以致于当前有许多绘画艺术作品,在内容上有较大突破,而在绘画的技术手段上仍然显得非常单一、粗糙、陈旧,其学术性不强,专业层次较低。 其实,只要我们能静下心来去考证一下艺术的真正含义,去分析一下历代大师们的作品,去体察一下我们的整个创作过程,便不难发现,我们对艺术的理解是多么的偏颇和狭隘。
