据统计,1979年我国各行业磨矿工艺的介质总耗量达17.35万吨。磨矿介质是磨机内破磨物料的媒介,它对磨矿效率、能耗、钢耗都有很大的影响,因此,近年来在改进磨矿介质的形状、材质、尺寸等方面,国内外已做了大量的研究工作,本文将阐述这几方面的进展。 (一)磨矿介质的材质 我国的大多数选厂,长期以来一直使用普通碳素钢轧球,或普通铸造白口铁球。轧球多为废次钢材轧制,铸球的生产也无统一技术标准,质量低劣,使钢耗高达2.32公斤/吨。而欧美等发达国家一般采用锻造和铸造碳钢、合金钢为材质来制造磨矿介质,它们的化学组份列于表1。

Rolling balls are mostly scrap steel rolling, cast ball production there is no uniform technical standards, poor quality, the steel consumption up to 2.32 kg / ton. The developed countries in Europe and the United States generally use forged and cast carbon steel, alloy steel for the manufacture of grinding media, their chemical components are listed in Table 1.
