普通的螺旋线行波管采用简单的变形夹持或膨胀夹持的方法,把钨或钼螺旋线及介质夹持杆压入管壳内。当螺旋线耗散功率不高时,这种连接方法是十分有效的。而当管子的平均输出功率为几百瓦时,变形或膨胀夹持的方法就不能适用了。有人曾作过这样试验,采用变形或膨胀夹持工艺的普通螺旋线行波管,平均功率极限在6千兆赫时为一千瓦;15千兆赫时仅300瓦。
Ordinary spiral traveling wave tube with a simple method of deformation holding or expansion clamp, the tungsten or molybdenum spiral and media clamping rod pressed into the shell. This connection method is very effective when the spiral power dissipation is not high. When the average output power of the tube is a few hundred watts, the method of deformation or expansion clamping can not be applied. Some people have done such experiments, the use of deformation or expansion of the holding process of ordinary spiral traveling wave tube, the average power limit at 6 gigahertz for a kilowatt; 15 GHz only 300 watts.
