松毛虫杆菌是一种细菌杀虫剂,国内外均有应用。国内多采用人工地面常量喷雾的方法防治森林害虫,虽然取得了较好的杀虫效果,但是耗水量大,用工多,防治成本高。为了寻求经济有效的防治方法,我们于1979-1983年采用“一步扩大法”生产松毛虫杆菌,并用东方红-18型超低量喷雾器改制成的低容量喷雾器,进行了低容量喷雾防治松毛虫的试验研究。以喀左县为中心,在凌源、建昌和北票三县结合生产防治了40,954亩,松毛虫平均校正虫口减退率达88.6%。
