“四大家鱼”人工繁殖技术成功和广泛应用,解决了我国养殖业中苗种大批量需求和集中长距离运输供应存在的重大问题。为我国的淡水养殖业兴旺发展打下了坚实的基础。近年来随着养殖业的迅猛发展和自然资源的减少,“四大家鱼”优质亲本的挑选标准也随之放松了。很大一部分鱼繁殖场站一味地追求出苗数量和眼前生产效益,不符合标准的亲鱼也用来催产。有些鱼场用于催产的白鲢最大个体不到5公斤,最小个体不到3公斤。有些成熟度不够的亲鱼也只好靠加大剂量来催产,以达到同期获得大批量苗种的目的,片面地追求经济效益。这样一来,造成子代个体生长速度缓慢,后代性状退化严重,很难达到预期产量。尤其是人工放养达到自然增值为目的的大水面,又有很多单位从中收集亲本,容易形成近亲繁殖,造成恶性循环,为我国的水养殖业带来很大的隐患。 国家对保护鱼类资源和苗种生产早已制订了严格的管理制度和有关法规条例。并且
