In 1975, a scientist named Carole Ali placed an atomic clock on the ground while the other was placed on a fast-flying aircraft. Ali claimed a few hours later he found the two atomic clocks a little out of sync, and the atomic clock on the plane went a little slower than the atomic clock on the ground. Why is Ali doing such an experiment? It turned out that he wanted to confirm Einstein’s special theory of relativity. According to this theory, travel in time and space is possible, and if you fly over the sky at a speed close to light, you will be able to travel between the past and the future
