OBJECTIVE: To interpret respiratory regulation from the new theory, the pulmonary arterial blood circulation time directly determines the time from the beginning to the termination of the breath-breath phase (ie, the breath-taking switch) to form respiratory rhythm and frequency. However, few researches have been done on pulmonary venous volume, left atrial volume and stroke volume using the CT scan and cardiac CTA angiography. The correlation between them is analyzed to investigate the regulation of respiration during the circulation time. Methods: According to our recent pulmonary CT scan (≥0.06 mm) high-precision three-dimensional imaging technology to process, the estimated pulmonary vascular volume and cardiac CTA angiography data were analyzed by computer software to calculate the left atrium volume and stroke output the amount. The three correlation analysis, calculate lung - cycle time. Results: The total volume of pulmonary and pulmonary blood vessels in 5 normal volunteers was 3486 ± 783 (2156-4418) ml and the pulmonary vascular capacity was 141 ± 20 (105-163) ml. The estimated pulmonary venous capacity was 71 ± 10 (52-81) ) ml; left atrial volume was 97 ± 39 (53-165) m L and stroke volume was 86 ± 16 (60-106) ml. The sum of pulmonary venous volume and left atrial volume was approximately 2.0 ± 0.3 (1.7-2.4) times of stroke volume, with pulmonary venous volume slightly less than that of stroke volume (0.8 ± 0.1) and left atrial volume slightly larger than stroke volume Amount (1.1 ± 0.4). Conclusion: The estimated lung-artery time is about three beats.
