我社种植甜菜已近十年,开始只种春菜,产量逐年提高。三、四年后,产量逐渐下降。随着种植时间的延长,春甜菜表现病虫害重、成本高、产量低,效益差,趋向绝路。经过试验示范和推广夏播,甜菜获得了新生。全社七四年种植着甜菜1100亩,平均亩产3533斤,七五年1400亩,平均亩产3750斤,七六年1100亩,平均亩产3959斤。一般丰产田亩产达6000~8000斤。前冢子头大队270亩甜菜,平均亩产8000斤,其中一亩八分高产田,亩产达11,000斤。由于产量高,收入大,社员都想多种,所以面积越来越大。此后,产量逐年下降,部分地块因病虫害减产
